Temptation Has Nothing In Me

Father, You are not out of touch but know how it is to be tempted in all manner but still did not sin. Because You suffered while being tempted, You know how to help me. No temptation formed against me will prosper but will be null and ineffective. Being tempted is not sin, giving into temptation is sin. There is no temptation that is uncommon to me. You are well able to keep me from sinning by upholding your word. Temptation must come but I am an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony and I love not my life unto death. I pray that I do not walk into temptation but am delivered from evil. Where I am weak you are strong. I submit myself to you and resist acting like Satan insomuch I am not led away by my desires but being content in whatever state I am in: whether abounding or in lack. Today I enter the throne room of grace with boldness to receive the grace and mercy I need in this day of trouble.

In Jesus, I can be holy for You are holy. In Jesus, I can obey Gods commandments for they are not grievous or too hard. In Jesus, I can love God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength. In Jesus, I can abstain from youthful lusts and walk worthy of my calling. In Jesus, I can bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. In Jesus, I can resist the devil by submitting all cares to God. In Jesus, I can overcome the world with the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony. In Jesus, I can stand and having done all stand.

How do I get saved?

Jesus said if you want to follow me, you must lose your life. A higher standard than the typical ask Jesus into your heart confession. You have to start somewhere, so make the confession, but then do what Jesus said daily if you really believe in him. Jesus continued telling those who want to follow him that they must also take up their cross. Which means following Jesus will put you under the microscope of today's society. But that is part of the plan of losing your life so that you may live for him eternally. And why would you want to follow Jesus with all the trouble that goes with being his disciple? Because he is the only way through death to eternal life. He is not showing us the way. He is the way!

What is 'Walk with me'?

We are living in the Enoch generation. Enoch walked with God and was found no more because God took him. To walk with God means to hear, to reflect, and then to go out into all the world proclaiming Christ crucified. As a Bible teacher, I have several websites that help people walk with God.
